Your part, made the right way.

Send us your CAD. Our engineers review every part, find the right process and the right maker, and send you one clear quote.

  • Reviewed by an engineerAn engineer reviews every file before we quote it.
  • A quote within two business daysBy email, with the process, the material, the price and the lead time.
  • NDA first, if you need itWe sign NDAs before you share files.
  • Ships across Canada and the USShipping is quoted with your parts.

Add your parts

Add every part at once. Each model becomes a line on your quote sheet.

  • 3D modelsSTEP · STL · IGES · OBJ · 3MFEach one becomes a part. STL and OBJ get measured and drawn right here.
  • Flat partsDXF · DWGFor laser and waterjet cutting, and sheet metal blanks.
  • DrawingsPDFTolerances, threads and finishes. Name it like its model and it joins that part.
  • Everything elseZIPAssemblies and other formats, in one file.
  • Your files go to a private folder that only our team can open. We sign NDAs before you share files.
What we make

Six ways to make a part.

From one printed prototype to a production run. Open one to see what it's good at.

3d printed prototype parts flat lay

Built layer by layer, with no tooling.

One part to a small batch, complex shapes and quick changes.FDM · SLA · SLS · MJF

Machined aluminum parts on blueprint

Cut from solid metal or plastic.

Precise, strong parts in real engineering materials.CNC milling · CNC turning

Pcb and aluminum enclosure engineering layout

Cut, bent and formed from flat sheet.

Enclosures, brackets, chassis, panels and covers.

Laser cut steel parts on technical drawing

Flat parts, cut along a line.

Panels, plates, signs, gaskets and flat brackets.Laser cutting · Waterjet

Bright studio with transparent prototype models

Production-like plastic, in small batches.

Small batches that look and feel like production plastic.

Product design process from sketch to model

Thousands of the same plastic part.

Larger runs of identical plastic parts.

Materials and finishes

See it before you choose.

Plastics, resins, nylons, metals, woods and acrylics, and the finishes that go on them.

Sample board
  • Aluminium

Light, strong and easy to machine. Takes anodizing well.

CNC milling · CNC turning · Laser cutting · Waterjet · Sheet metal

  • Stainless steel

Strong and corrosion resistant, for parts that see water or wear.

CNC milling · CNC turning · Laser cutting · Waterjet · Sheet metal

  • Mild steel

Strong and economical. Usually powder coated or painted.

CNC milling · Laser cutting · Waterjet · Sheet metal

  • Brass

Machines beautifully, with a warm finish. Fittings, hardware and trim.

CNC milling · CNC turning · Waterjet

Impressions, not colour matches. The exact material and colour are confirmed with your quote.

Why TDC

We're not a middle man. We're here to help.

Here's what that means for your part.

  • Designer inspecting 3d printed model with magnifier
    01

    Engineers review your files

An engineer reviews every file before we quote it.

  • Cnc machined and 3d printed parts with calipers
    02

The right process, the right maker

We compare the ways to make each part and find the right maker for it.

  • Designer presenting 3d cad model to client
    03

    One point of contact

One contact from the first prototype to the production run.

  • Engineer cad modelling machined assembly
    04

    Honest advice

If a change saves you money and the part still works the same, we tell you.

How it works

Four steps, one contact.

Nothing is made until you approve your quote.

  1. 01

    Upload

Your files and your quote sheet, part by part.

  2. 02

    Engineering review

We check your design against the way it will be made, before anything is priced.

  3. 03

    Your quote

By email, within two business days.

  4. 04

    Made and delivered

Once you approve. The lead time is in your quote, and we ship across Canada and the US.

Questions

Before you upload.

Can't find yours? Ask an engineer.

STEP (.step or .stp) is best for machining and moulding, and STL works for 3D printing. IGES works too, and DXF or DWG suits laser cutting, waterjet and sheet metal. Add a PDF drawing for tolerances, threads and finishes. OBJ, 3MF and ZIP files are fine, up to 20 files of 100 MB each. No CAD file yet? Send a sketch, a drawing or photos, and our engineers can model it for you.
