Six pieces, machined from solid
Each piece is cut from aluminium and finished with a 0.8 mm chamfer that catches the light.

Two steel dowels each
Every piece sits on its own pair of dowels, so it only goes back one way.

The plan underneath
Lift the pieces and the mark's plan is engraved in the base, with a 5 mm ruler along the front.

A brass edition plate
Screwed to the front of the base, engraved with the studio's name.

Cork feet
Four cork feet keep it still on glass, stone and wood.
The mark, machined
Our mark is six pieces cut from a grid of squares. We drew them as solid parts: each one machined from aluminium, chamfered, and set on two steel dowels in a graphite base, with the plan of the mark engraved underneath.

A CNC machine shop and an anodiser
We draw every piece and its tolerances. A CNC machine shop cuts them from solid aluminium, and an anodiser finishes them. We design it, and the right maker produces it.
